Dexter Silvers, a well-established professional artist, was born as Derrick Arthur Silvers in St. Louis, Missouri. The nickname “Dexter” was given to him by his late father as a child and has become his trademark signature. He inherited his talents from his mother and father and has always had a passion for the arts. Dexter grew up in Crestwood, Missouri and attended Lindbergh High School.
